| Work Scope |
- Lead the production team to efficiently carry out production activities as directed by the OIM to ensure the availability of all offshore plant and equipment to safely achieve production targets.
- Operate and carry out production operations and first line maintenance activities on the process and utility systems as directed by the OIM, within the installation Safety Management System and to standards demanded by regulatory authorities.
- In the role of Area Authority ensure that all works is performed according to the conditions outlined on the Permit to Work. Identify hazards and access and manage risks.
- Manage, monitor and report all discharges and emissions in compliance with Environmental limits.
- Carry out the duty allocated during emergencies of Emergency Response Team Leader.
- Be available within safety limitations to provide support as required for any installation activities necessary to maintain crew safety and operational efficiency. Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with Safety Management System, including platform safety regulations and positively support all safety initiatives and improvements.
- Supervise a multi-discipline team of Production Technicians. Provide instruction and guidance in the co-ordination of multi-discipline activities. Plan, evaluate and delegate responsibility while retaining accountability. Coach and train Production Technicians and Control Room Operators to ensure competence development and staff succession.
- Ensure a safe and comprehensive hand over is given at shift or crew change with all relevant operational and maintenance information to subordinates, peers and Supervisors.
- Report to and deputies of the OIM.
- Contribute to personnel selection and performance appraisal
- Contribute to the creation of operational budgets and cost control.
- In the role of Area Authority – ensure that all work is performed according to the conditions outlined on the Permit to Work.
- Identify hazards to assist in the management of risk to ALARP.
- Undertake an active role in determining process and front line maintenance operations are carried out in a safe responsible manner to that is compliant with PSN core values and ethics.
- Maintain a positive, proactive approach to HSE, intervening where work is unsafe and reporting all near misses, injuries and incidents for future prevention.
- Ensure a safe and comprehensive hand over is given at shift or crew with all relevant operational and maintenance information to subordinates, peers and managers.
- Interact with other departments and Contract based personnel as required to strive for a harmonious work place.
- Provide mentorship, leadership and guidance support to the production team.
- Utilise industry based experience to enhance and provide improvement suggestion for streamlined work site process and procedures.
- Undertake to train and mentor National Production Operators to a suitable level of competency in line with agreed Nationalisation policy and time line.
- Develop training and CBTA packages and coach and train Production Technicians to ensure competence, development and staff succession.
- Develop professional working relationship with all production & operations team members.
- Liaise with third party contractors.
- Liaise & assist members of the onshore support team as required.
- Conduct work efficiently with continuous reviews undertaken to minimise waste and rework.
- Ensure that justification is provided to client for cost saving measures, or investment required for material or equipment upgrades.
- Demonstrate value add to the production process.
- Accurate and honest reporting
- Operate within the rules and regulations of the Designated Authority

| Requirements |
- 10 years minimum offshore production experience.
- Wellheads including Xmas trees.
- Liquid/gas/produced water separation and handling including well test
- Gas compression and conditioning
- Metering and associated analysers
- Pig launchers and receivers.
- Fuel conditioning and transport including gas, diesel and aviation fuels.
- Flaring, venting and drainage
- Sea water and fresh water conditioning and pumping
- Heating and cooling
- Chemical storage and distribution
- Hazard detection including fire, gas, explosion, occupational and impact risks.
- Hazard protection including extinguish ant delivery and hazard containment.
- Escape Evacuation and Rescue and life support including HVAC
- AC & DC electrical power.
- Inert gas generation, handling and distribution
- Workshop and laboratory facilities.
- Teamwork and an advanced level in English speaking, writing and listening and computer skills are required. Good communication skills in a multi nationalized working environment coupled with depth knowledge of offshore production operations.
- Must have understanding of policies, procedures and objectives and an awareness of the personal and business impact caused by unacceptable safety practises.
- Offshore based.
