Asian oil & gas operating company with outstanding exploration and production record, seeks suitably qualified and experienced specialist for a professionally challenging and satisfying role as Petroleum Engineer. The client offers an internationally competitive remuneration package.

• Ensure that the pre-conceptual studies and basic engineering assessment are performed timely and the facilities are optimized.
• Oversee and supervise the detailed design contractor in the performance of the work to ensure timely completion, within budget and meeting the technical requirements.
• Take lead in the procurement of selected materials and services to ensure that the product meets the technical requirements and the quality desired.
• Participate in the compilation of the ITB and contracting cycle for fabrication, installation and hook-up and commissioning activities. Oversee, liaise and supervise contractor in the performance of the work to ensure the project is executed safely, within budget, timely and meet the technical requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and attend to problems whenever call upon by other Carigali Hess’s department, Shareholders and MTJA

• 15 years of structural engineering experience in the design and operations of offshore oil and gas development projects of which 10 years must be directly involved with the structural engineering design for major offshore oil and gas production and processing facilities.
• Familiar in general structural engineering software such as SACS, finite element analysis, etc. Some experience in the fabrication, pipe lay and offshore installation of upstream offshore oil and gas platforms.
• Possess good communication skills and good command of English and able to work independently with little supervision.
