| Work Scope |
- To assist in the development of the cost estimates and serves as liaison for project management for bidding.
- Develop cost estimates for the projects assigned.
- Assist Estimating Manager in evaluation of Customer Request for Quotation documents.
- Assist and involve in tender preparation and compilation for submission to client.
- Identifies and understands customer requirements for bid purposes.
- Co-ordinates bid inputs from operations, engineering, welding, legal, purchasing, taxation, human resources, safety, and risk management departments.
- Co-ordinates with Subcontractors and Vendors/supplier to receive their inputs or submission.
- Assist Estimating Manager in obtaining Management approval on estimates prior to submission of proposal to Client.
- Attends pre and post bid meetings include tender briefing, site visit, if required by client.
- Enters proposals into company database for cost tracking and historical information.
- Serves as the liaison for Project Management when a bid is awarded and becomes a job.
- Serves as a Marketing Representative to sell the company to existing and potential clients.
