Asian oil & gas operating company with outstanding exploration and production record, seeks suitably qualified and experienced specialist for a professionally challenging and satisfying role as Drilling Engineer. The client offers an internationally competitive remuneration package.

• Plan and execute well designs and engineering, procurement, drilling and completion of all wells undertaken by Drilling Department.
• Develop the detailed drilling program appraisal well.
• Prepare detailed contingency plan based on the risk mitigation outcomes from the risk register.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve performance and reduce cost, and follow the detailed risk assessment and planning.
• Provide daily engineering support to the Drilling Engineering during drilling operations.
• Prepare and participate in peer reviews, risk assessment, DWOPs and pre-spud meetings for all wells as required.
• Prepare time and cost estimates for the planned wells.
• Monitor actual v planned time and cost on a daily basis.
• Monitor non-productive time and unplanned event reporting on a daily basis

• Relevant Degree in Engineering with ideally 10-15 years experience in the drilling field
• Relevant offshore experience required
• Computer literate with good communication skills
• Knowledge of drilling engineering software

• BSc or HND degree in any relevant engineering discipline
