| Work Scope |
- Assist in the preparation of specs, SOW and review of technical bids for all marine vessels.
- Review and provide inputs to the Vessel Charter Contracts.
- Participate in the pre-hire inspection of marine vessels and barges to ensure compliance with MOC/PETRONAS/International requirements, standards and contractual obligations.
- Inspects marine vessels and projects marine spreads prior to their entry into the fields in order to ensure conformity with safety and specification standards and advises for the preparation of entry permits accordingly.
- Monitors and maintains records of marine vessels utilization including crew boats, transport of materials and personnel.
- Monitor and maintain records of marine vessels consumption supplied materials including fuel oil, fresh water, and ensure timely supply of requirements.
- Receive and monitor daily reports on movements of all marine vessels and coordinate the sending of relevant information to all concerned parties
- Follow-up on requirements of consumable materials for all contracted vessels and ensure timely arrangement of supplies
- Review regular reports from vessels on emergency drills and safety meetings to ensure MOC procedures are being adhered to.
- Assist in responding to all marine offshore emergencies for fire-fighting, pollution control, search and rescue.
- Observe all HSE guidelines in own area of work.
- Monitors marine vessels off-hire period, port calls and marine entry permits.
- Assist in Projects & Standards and act as reliever for offshore mariners in case of emergency or otherwise required by the Construction Manager
- Work in line with established Regulations, policies and procedures, safety and marine standards and regulations.
- Provide advisory roles to Construction Manager on any related Marine matters.
