| Work Scope |
- Manage and coordinate all completion operations, through the Completion Engineers including programme review and approval, ensuring all well objectives are met in a safe, efficient and timely manner and within budget.
- Manage and coordinate all well intervention and work-over operations including programme review and approval, ensuring all well objectives are met in a safe, efficient and timely manner and within budget.
- Manage and coordinate all well testing operations, through the Well Test Engineers including programme review and approval, ensuring all well objectives are met in a safe, efficient and timely manner and within budget.
- Ensure all Well Services operations deliver safe, cost-effective solutions, which accomplish the Carigali Hess well objectives in compliance with the appropriate industry and Carigali Hess HSE policies.
- Ensure that the highest Safety Standards are attained and that all equipment and procedures are in compliance with Regulatory Authority and Carigali Hess requirements.
- To ensure that any Safety Related Incidents or Operational Non-Conformance Events relevant to Well Services are thoroughly investigated and corrective actions put in place.
- Monitor the Operational Plan and Daily Cost Reports for offshore operations with a view to optimising performance, minimising Non-Productive Time and maximising the cost-effectiveness of operations.
- To analyse and resolve operational problems in conjunction with the onshore and offshore Engineering teams based on operational experience.
- To review or assist with tender preparation and evaluation for Well Services contracts. To control and monitor the implementation of all Well Services contracts
- To make regular offshore visits to the rig site to liaise closely with the offshore teams to help ensure operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
- To participate in the development and implementation of the Operational Management System as applied to Well Services Operations with particular emphasis on Risk Assessment, hazard mitigation and audit compliance.
- To be a full and active member of the CTOC Emergency Response Team including on-call duty coverage.
- To develop the wells department’s key performance indicators (KPI) and to benchmark performance against the plan.
- To develop the agreed goals and objectives of all wells team members and to regularly appraise individual performance against these.
- To monitor the accuracy of and approve the payment of all Well Services invoices within the financial authority of the position.
- To assist in the recruitment of personnel into the team in a timely manner and to ensure a 80% retention rate of direct reports.

| Requirements |
- 15 years of Well Testing, Completions and Well Intervention experience, which must include a period (at least 8 years) as an offshore Well Services Supervisor.
- Experience of sand control technology and operations is seen as advantageous.
- Experience of tubing design and stress analysis programmes is beneficial as experience in tool lift calculations.
- He /she should be motivated and demonstrate a clear mentoring attitude with regard to developing local staff. The incumbent shall be willing and capable of transferring his knowledge to a Company appointed candidate to replace him in due time.
