- Creating and maintaining a good working relationship throughout the Discipline, as well as establishing and maintaining basic procedures and organization of the Discipline.
- Ensuring that all members of the Discipline are kept informed of the Company policy on Quality Assur¬ance/Quality Control and follow the relevant proce¬dures.
- Establishing and updating Discipline Work Procedure and Discipline Guidelines.
- Keeping ordered record of Non-Conformity Reports (NCR) relevant to the Process Discipline technical instructions and documentation (i.e. the Discipline Guidelines), and take appropriate steps towards implementation of the necessary Corrective Actions.
- Ensuring that adequate staff levels are maintained in the Discipline, both in number and calibre. Conduct interviews with prospective employees and make recommendations for offers of employment.
- Planning for the development and training of technical personnel.
- Carrying out periodical personnel appraisals of Process Engineers, Senior Process Engineers, and Process Section Head. Identifying engineers suitable for further development and, in association with the Managing Director, planning and implementing the appropriate training programs and career advance¬ments.
- Performing the activities assigned to a QA Correspondent.
- Delegating the duty of Quality Correspondent to one or more components of the Discipline.
- Ensuring the maintenance of process engineering records, and planning for their improvement.
- Ensuring that special technical data or calculation procedures developed in the job task forces are dissemi¬nated throughout the Discipline and to other Disciplines or Divisions, as applicable.
- Perform an evaluation on the status and adequacy of the quality system of his Discipline in relation to Company Quality Policy and objectives.
- Ensuring that any Discipline Service subcontracted to others is subject to the appropriate QA clauses and procedures.
- Ensuring that the Process Coordinator appointed for the project takes responsibility for the Control of Purchased Services, from qualification stage of bidders to final acceptance of supply.
- Represent FWEPL in FW international Process Managers Conference & meeting
- Perform duties of Project Manager , when nominated for some specific project, in accordance with the work procedure WP-PMN.
