Our client is a highly successful International Consultant/Contractor company. Also one of the world's leaders in EPC and EPIC contracts. They are currently undertaking a number of projects in Singapore and in the downstream of oil & gas industry.

• Setup, implement and operate Commissioning Permit to Work System (PTW).
• Understand and implement the various requirements for Hot, Cold and Confined Space Permits
• Day to day understanding and review of Permits with respect to PPE, isolations, Electrical and Mechanical lock-out&tag-out, barricading and depressurization of equipment, pipework and instrumentation to effect safe work through PTW System.
• Be able to read Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) or equivalent.
• Be able to read and understand Method Statements
• Maintain “Live” systems list in PTW office and have day to day understanding of status of “Live” systems to enable PTW to be issued in safe and efficient manner.
• Effectively co-ordinate and record PTW activities including maintenance of PTW location plot plan and register to ensure safety is maintained at all times in ongoing Construction / Commissioning work areas with no clashes.
• Enforce and ensure applied Permits properly describe the scope of work and are accompanied by necessary documentation such as marked-up P&IDs, Method Statements and JHAs
• Supervise Operations and Commissioning Engineers with respect to application of lock-out&tag-out practices in issuing PTW.
• Effectively setup and run register for lock-out&tag-out system
• Final review, sign off and issue of PTW to sub-contractors on behalf of Commissioning Group
• Archive PTW in logical manner.
• Provide regular audits of PTW system to ensure compliance with Project Procedures and Safe Work Practices.
• Participate / facilitate risk analysis workshops
• Conduct Permit To Work roll-out and inductions
