| Work Scope |
- Strategy - Develop sales strategy to set direction for product line and department. Identify target customers, products and markets for future growth.
- Planning - Establish / maintain a list of customers we need to contact to ascertain their activity. Create / maintain a customer contact schedule for department and work to it. Ensure sufficient resource is available to meet the workload.
- Customer Development - Build close working relationships with key customers to understand future requirements and to influence project specifications as early as possible.
- Sales Literature - Develop sales brochures, other sales literature, sales promotions and advertisements as required, in relation with our marketing group. Working closely with the AP Sales team and other geographic areas as required.
- Sales Development – Travel in the Region to visit Customers with requirements for Wellhead and Subsea products. Gain clear and concise instructions and specifications for requests to quote to minimise clarifications and potential duplications of effort.
- Reporting - Report regularly on customer visits and produce regular sales reports for management. Input knowledge gained from all markets / territories to update budgets and forecasts.
- Quotation Preparation - Assist in quotation preparation when necessary.
- Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for improvements and cost reduction on an ongoing basis.
- Policy / Procedures - Set policies for the Sales Department and review new / changed procedures.
- As necessary, perform other duties which require essentially the same level of skill and responsibility.

| Requirements |
- 5+ years extensive Oilfield equiptment product knowledge.
- A people person, good networker and relationship builder.
- Oilfield knowledge, including understanding of exploration and production requirements and drilling operations.
- Ability to work on own initiatives without immediate supervision.
- Good Communicator.

| Qualifications |
- Apprenticeship in relevant discipline preferred and/or minimum HNC (business or technical)
