| Work Scope |
- Preparation and negotiation of various types of contractual documents, such as contracts of sale, cooperation agreements, leases, joint venture agreements and consultancy agreements;
- Liaison with insurance and tax experts on international tenders, contracts and other contractual documents
- Liaison with outside counsel as needed, both with respect to matters involving legal interpretations under foreign jurisdictions and on litigation matters, in Malaysia and elsewhere where applicable
- Contractual/commercial issues relating to tendering of work
- Review terms and conditions of tenders
- Participate in tender clarifications and negotiations.
- Ensure tenders and contracts are in compliance with Aker Solutions policies.
- Contractual/commercial issues in connection with execution of projects
- Review relevant project documents and coordinate work related to contractual/commercial matters
- Implement actions needed to comply with contract requirements
- Guide and lead project managers in contractual / commercial issues.
- Assist Senior Vice President Asia Pacific as needed in legal, contractual and commercial matters
- Responsibility will cover Malaysia, Asia and other areas as applicable being managed from the Aker Solutions Malaysia.
- The position includes build up of Contracts and Commercial Department to cope with work load and challenges as required.

| Requirements |
- At least 10 years experience with handling of contractual issues within engineering and construction projects, preferable for oil and gas industry.
- Previous international experience or working in an MNC environment and under diverse legal systems will be a definite advantage is a requirement.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status
