• proven track record of at least 5 years as a Safety Officer,
• Conversant with all aspects of the HSE requirements, methods and practices pertaining to the nature of the workscope.
• Fluent in English and fully conversant with the COMPANY HSE Standards and Specifications. Working knowledge of Malay would be an advantage, not be employed in any other activities, which are to the detriment of his attending to his duties as safety officer under this CONTRACT.

• have attended and passed a recognised course in the management of HSE in the contracting sphere
