| Work Scope |
- Prepare journal entries for the allocation of common cost, proper classification of Non Capex Carry items.
- Prepare Unit Accounts Billing (currently called Interim Expenditure Statement) for submission to Unit Operators.
- Compute allocation percentages to allocate common costs for the purpose of budgeting and allocation of actual expenditure for operation units.
Extracting relevant costs from the ledger and incorporating feedback from Shareholders given at various meetings.
- Obtain End-Year Reserves, monthly Gas Sales Volume actual and forecast figures.
- Conduct monthly review of accuracy of cost being charged to Operations Unit and to prepare adjustment journal entry to rectify any problems.
- Maintain an up-to-date list of well-codes, account codes and AFE numbers for Operation Units.
- Ensure all correspondences and supporting documents are filed timely to allow easy retrieval and for audit trail purposes.
- Follow up on timely compilation of Balance Sheet Accounts reconciliation by respective personnel.
- Preparation of presentation slides as and when necessary e.g. for Unit Operators Meetings.
- Co-ordinate and attend meeting with Unit Contractors and Unit Operators.
- Ensure compliance to Finance Policies & Procedures/Interim Arrangement/HOA/Unit Accounting Procedure.
- Providing information, statistics & reports as required internally or by Shareholders.
- Preparing and ensuring timely issuance of the relevant reports as required under the Unit Agreement.
- Assist in Month End Closing functions.
- Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures.
- Highlight areas of concern and propose remedial solutions, to line management.
- To calculate and incorporate any changes or cost impact from Re-Determination to the unit accounts
- Track recovery of carried costs and prepare status reports to all unit parties accordingly.
- To support other functions within the Financial Accounting team and to be available for rotation within the Financial Accounting team or within Finance.

| Requirements |
- Minimum of five (5) years working experience with at least 3 years in the oil and gas industry preferred.
- Good analytical skill and the ability to response within limited timeframe.
- Experienced in handling a standard Accounting System e.g. SUN, SAP, OGSYS.
- Possess computer application skills e.g. spreadsheet, word processing, presentation/chart application.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Good interpersonal skill and the ability to interact with personnel at all levels as the job require the interaction with Unit Contractors, Regulatory bodies, Unit Operators and in-house management.
