Our client is a wholly owned subsidiary company and they have been in operation for the past 7 years. They are an operator and their offshore operations is based in South East Asia. They are being traded in the international stock market and currently they are spreading their wings into Malaysia and searching for talents to join their workforce.

• To provide over-all field management of Wellhead Platforms, Process Platform and Storage Offloading Tanker(FSO) to maximize oil production via optimization of surface and subsurface process equipment, production methods, well intervention options and cost analysis.
• Carry out technical duties required to optimize the extraction of oil from hydrocarbon bearing formations by coordinating work activities of production, reservoir and drilling engineers with production field operations and personnel to ensure the required production quotas are efficiently achieved.
• Liaise with Reservoir Engineer production personnel to efficiently operate process equipment, Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) Pumps to meet production quotas and crude oil quality.
• Lead in production and maintenance planning and provide supervision support and advice to production personnel
• Plan in conjunction with external services providers, contractors, and other vendors for required shutdowns, isolations, planned maintenance and well interventions.
• Coordinate with FSO Captain and Mooring Master crude oil offloading from storage tanker.
• Ensure all required commercial documents for offload are in order.
• Compile and produce production and other reports as required or directed by the Production Manager.
• Supervise and implement planned preventative maintenance.
• Manage as directed by Production Manager, all aspects of Well Testing Program.
• Ensure optimization of ESP pumps.
• Manage power distribution system from on board bi-fuel generators to ensure 100% up time on generators and ESP pumps
• Supervise and conduct various oil field laboratory tests.
• Coordinate and manage all vessel traffic and logistics to support production operations
• Provide guidance in the compilation of well intervention programs in conjunction with the drilling department and engineering staff.
• Review for technical content and accuracy, all invoices related to well intervention activities and production operations
• Assist in preparation of yearly operating budget
• Assist in preparation and generation of forward planning

• 15-20 years experience working in the upstream E & P energy sector.
• Crude oil production experience via ESPs and power grid distribution and management required.
• Experience with ESP equipment and black oil production is required.
• Ability to produce well written reports is a must.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail with good organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work independent of others as well as in a functional team.
• Excellent PC skills with all MS Office programs especially Excel and power Point is a must.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to Read, Write and Speak English.
• Special emphasis on report writing is stressed.
