• Prepare/modify/check/verify/approve all Mechanical engineering deliverables( Static and/or Rotating equipment and/or Material Handling and/or fire fighting/safety item) such as design basis, Utility balance report, facilities equipment layout, equipment list, basic material selection report, safety & escape route layout, data sheet, equipment specification, vendor’s design and drawing, equipment design, hydraulics calculation etc..
• Interact closely with Process, Piping and other discipline engineers for their preparation multi discipline deliverables such equipment layout, safety and escape route layout, operating Manual etc.
• Effectively participate and contribute in HAZID and HAZOP meeting as required.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Carry out offshore site visit and prepare As Building documents.
• Purchasing equipment and materials (RFQ/PO), vendor’s tender evaluation, recommendation etc.
• Preparing testing procedures carry out FAT and SAT tests.
• Provide design expert assistance to Commissioning team for the various process and utility system and input to the operating Manual.
• Provides technical direction and on-the-job training to Drafters, Designers, and less experienced Engineers.

• Shall have +/- 8 years experience in oil and gas industries especially for offshore production and processing facilities including onshore terminal facilities.
• Conversant in preparing all Mechanical engineering deliverables (Static and/or Rotating) required for basic (conceptual and FEED) and detailed engineering projects.
• Knowledge in operating pressure vessel and Heat Exchanger Software (Pvlite, HTRI, HTFS etc) and other mechanical engineering related software is required.
• Must have completed at least two to three projects in full cycle for green field and or brown field projects.
• Conversant with all API, ANSI, BS, IS and other international standards as applicable for the preparation of Process deliverables.
• Knowledge in system design such as Gas compression, gas dehydration, gas sweetening, water injection, lift gas, multi phase flow meter, produced water handling, slug suppression system, etc
• PE license holder or Professional accreditation from recognized university together with offshore visit fitness/safety certificate shall have an added advantage.

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from recognized university.
