Brief Company Introduction

Our client is a joint operating company. They are responsible to conduct petroleum operations on behalf of the Production Sharing Contractors in offshore East Malaysia. In fulfilling the role and responsibility of the operator, they aspires to be a high performing joint operating company and currently they are searching for talent to join their workforce.

Work Scope
  • Development and implementation of the (SAP) CMMS including the development of the asset register in SAP, performing test of context support the Bu Process design, and Project migration from design through HUC and into Operations. Population of Ztables as required, Exploitation of database use as a maintenance tool, by understanding User exit design and application to improvement initiatives, effect use of interface modules to other system. to support data transfer for analysis and reporting effective use of SAP PM interface between SAP Modules such as FI, CO, MM, PS and DMS. Coordinate development and design of SAP PM Functionality within the framework of the GIS Global Standards.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and supervision including HR tasks for the onshore CMMS development and management group to support the overall maintenance efforts and company business goals.
  • Cross-Training: Cross-train with GIS team to help knowledge sharing of regional development initiatives and processes.
  • Mentoring: Mentor other maintenance / production group employee in the skills required for their position in order to maintain function of office activities during vacation or off-times.
  • Database Development, Review, and Audit: Utilisation of SAP PM Functionality within the China BU by: Understanding the configuration of the system for China PM module as well as user exits and work flows currently being used. Creating development PM plan for future improvement and transition from Project to Operational design., As well as the core system support need to continue with the support of the development of the master data such as Maintenance plans, Schedules, Bills of Materials , Class and Characteristics , Catalogue Profile design for Damage and cause analysis., Work with the BW Report developer in the design of reporting based on consistent use of fields and process in PM. Maintain an overview of impact of process change on the system design and the effect on all modules interfacing with PM.
  • System Testing and Design change Administration: Organizing test for all configuration changes in Test environments for BU approval, create Change Requests and ITS request to gain GIS approval of changes carryout changes for transport through to Test and Production environment. Management of Ztables that support China processes.
  • Knowledge Acquisition / Sharing: Stay abreast of changes and share knowledge regarding SAP PM, MM, and other related software by participating in regular conference calls with the PM user network. Seek out and attend appropriate workshops which will enhance Analyst’s skill-sets, and support networks. In order to Ensure that the SAP PM database is maintained according to current “best practices” and that we share China “knowledge gained” with others.
  • Exploitation: Exploit the CMMS (SAP PM) system capabilities by applying changes and knowledge gained regarding SAP PM to the China CMMS database in order to Ensure that China business unit is taking full advantage of the database capabilities to help us better manage Maintenance, Inspection, reporting and Testing activities and budgets.
  • Assist Employee Training: Schedule and/or conduct regular training either individually or in the form of workshops for onshore and offshore personnel.
  • Continue developing China SAP PM
  • Effective use of SAP interface to other modules and systems
  • Will require obtaining an increased understanding of the GIS future goals and initiatives.
Requirements
  • 5 years SAP working experience
  • (Required): Database, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Planning software, SAP-(SME)
  • Strong communication skills (Chinese and English), and good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong typing skills (English and Chinese)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • (Desired): Flowcharting software, Presentation software
