| Work Scope |
- PROCUREMENT ANALYST
- Procurement Section, facilitates and involves in bidding process from the beginning, learning the needs; scope of supply; tender preparation; call for tender process; commercial evaluation and negotiation, up to final contract documentation and approval. Mostly focus on procurement of materials and services (if any) with great amount of value and high complexity in scope of supply.
- Prepare purchase order (PO), after scope of supply has been clarified, the function assists in commercial negotiation, price comparison, up to pressing PO after vendor selection. However, it is much less complicated in terms of scope of supply and legal concern for PO than contracts. The function also assists users in dealing with contractors in case of disagreement/disputes.
- All procurement to be performed under competitive bidding process. Unless their have a strong justification and support by line management.
- Ensure all scope of supply are complied with user requirement in term of safety, specification, required date and cost effectiveness.
- To extensive contacts and liaison with internal users and external suppliers/contractors for discussion on materials requirements.
- The jobholder to perform a focal point of contact for both technical and commercial bid clarification. The enquiry from any bidder must be replied to all invited bidder.
- Coordinate with user to prepare recommendation to award base on evaluation strategy that set up front.
- Prepare weekly/monthly activity reports on procurement status and submit to Senior Analyst, Procurement.
- Notify their user at least 3 – 6 months prior to end of each contract in order to have sufficient time for process new contract if require.
- The jobholder reports to Senior Analyst, Procurement.
