Our client is a joint operating company. They are responsible to conduct petroleum operations on behalf of the Production Sharing Contractors in offshore East Malaysia. In fulfilling the role and responsibility of the operator, they aspires to be a high performing joint operating company and currently they are searching for talent to join their workforce..

• Provide contracting expertise and input on the effective planning, strategy and execution of contracting activities and ensure strict compliance with all the contractor’s established procedures, guidelines, policies, performance indicators and government regulations. Manage, coordinate and execute supply chain activities for the procurement of materials, equipments, supplies and miscellaneous services in support of the operational requirements offshore and onshore. In addition to monitor procurement planning and scheduling to ensure the packages are awarded on time and informing management team of any problem areas such as shortfalls in progress, late deliverables and productivity.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in major oil and gas projects
• Strong understanding and through knowledge of procurement process, policies, procedures, guidelines and legal aspects of purchasing and logistics
• Must be well-versed with oil and gas upstream procurement policies, procedures and guidelines
• Proven experience in handling tender packages for Development and Drilling.

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent qualifications
