Our client , a dynamic and strong foundation in the marine and have been long involved in a wide spectrum of oil and gas engineering and construction works. The company expanded focus on supporting the fast growing marine and heavy engineering needs of the oil, gas and related industries.

• Reports to Senior Manager, Coversion
• Consolidate projects schedule and strategize the overall planning of the resources with Production to met the projects and contractual deliverable and business goals and objectives.
• Strategize and establish document control system for the project department to ensure that all project documents are properly organized and documented for project closed out and meeting contractual obligation.
• Promote, develop, maintain and cultivate existing/new business relationships with project clients who include authorities, partners and associates (i.e. Government bodies, Ship owners, Shipyards, Fabricators, Designers, Vendors and Service Providers) with the objective to deliver products and services that meet customers’ satisfaction, to secure new contracts and to expedite payment recovery.
• Strategize, develop and ensure the implementation of projects improvement initiatives related to work systems & processes, infrastructure, industry best practices, competencies and capabilities to ensure service improvements and productivity objectives are achieved.
• Establish capability building for staff development to ensure sufficient and capable manpower to execute existing and future project requirements in planning and document control.
• Establish and implement succession planning to develop key personnel to assume higher positions in the department to ensure continuity and capability building.
• Consolidate project reports to establish Project Department periodical reports to management for information updating and decision making to ensure business goals and objectives are met.
• Lead implementation of HSE initiatives in the department to inculcate and develop HSE work culture.
• Maintain a healthy and conducive work environment in the department that encourages cohesiveness and commitment among staff and promote global championship mindset to improve productivity and to maintain high standards of service.
• Provide leadership, direction and guidance to motivate and nurture potential qualified leaders in projects management team-members for breakthrough performance to take the company to greater heights

• 8 years experience in managing project planning in the field of engineering & construction industry
• Above 35 years of age/Malaysian
• Competencies: Strategic Orientation, Project Management, Negotiation Skill, People & Networking skills, Client Management

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering discipline with certification in project planning software
