| Brief Company Introduction |
Our Client is a MNC which operates at the forefront of the O&G industry.
They are involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas and are currently looking for a QA/QC Engineer to join their team.

| Work Scope |
- Establish and maintain a quality management system (QMS) for the Engineering Construction Services (ECS) department to ensure that work activities of all ECS personnel are executed effectively in accordance to the ECS QMS.
- Monitoring the quality management system of ECS’s contractors to ensure that work activities of contractors are executed effectively in accordance to the respective Contract Quality Plan (CQP) and / or Project Quality Plan (PQP).
- Ensuring that quality control related activities are effective implemented.
- CS Quality Management System:
- Preparation, implementation, monitoring, revision, and updating of ECS Quality Management system and its corresponding documentation including Quality Policy, Quality Manual or Operating Guidelines and working procedures that is align to the EPA Engineering Management system (EMS).
Ensuring an effective implementation of a Document Control system within ECS.
- Manage the DCC to ensure updated and adequate control of all section documentations.
- Recording and reporting all quality activities and its outcomes for review purposes.
- Establishing quality performance (KPIs) and generating statistical measurement to ensure that such KPIs are achieved.
- Coordinate process of continuous improvement through various channels such QA audits, lessons learned through project closeout and staff feedback etc.
- Conduct quality audits – internal and external, prepare audit reports and follow-up of corrective and preventive action until closeout.
- Liaising with Corporate QA Team Lead on matter related to quality.
- Contractors’ Quality Management System:
- Evaluate Contractors’ quality management system and review together with discipline engineers and make appropriate recommendations to endorse contractors’ quality system during bid evaluation.
- Evaluate Contractors’ quality management system and review together with Construction engineers and make appropriate recommendations to endorse contractors’ quality system during contract / project execution, including review and approval of contractor’s CQP, PQP, relevant procedures and work instructions and CVs of QA personnel.
- Monitoring of all contractor’s QA activities to ensure that they are effectively executed.
- Prepare/schedule quality audit program for project contractors and suppliers and execute the audits to review their quality management system and verify compliance with the agreed CQP / PQP and ISO 9000 system.
- Conduct QA audits on contractors to ensure compliance to the agreed CQP / PQP and ISO 9000 system.
- Compile and analyse contractors/vendors quality performance and propose remedy and quality improvement initiatives.
- Quality Control:
- Facilitate the review / approval process QC related documents including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) etc
- Manage the company/Contractor surveillance interface, using company inspection resources in an effective and cost efficient manner.
- To ensure clear roles and responsibilities of all inspectors mobilised offshore. This also includes personal briefing to all inspector.

| Requirements |
- Must have a minimum 10 years working experience in construction works in Oil and Gas with a minimum 5 years in similar capacity.
- Must have a minimum 2 years working experience either working directly or supporting Offshore Construction works.
- Good management skills in negotiating, communication, job delegation and supervision.
- Malaysian Only.
- Possess CSWIP 3.1 (Welding) and IMM Level II (Painting) is added advantage.
- Technical knowledge in welding, blasting and painting.
- Good written and spoken skills in English language.

| Qualifications |
- As a minimum, candidate must have a recognized degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Candidate must have passed ISO2001:2000 Lead Auditor course.
