Our Client is a MNC which operates at the forefront of the O&G industry.

They are involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas and are currently looking for a Senior Cost and Planning Engineer to join their team.

• Roles:
• To provide cost control and planning support for new and on-going minor and Integrity Restoration (IR) projects, which includes develop, control and update of project cost, project schedule and resource plans in liaison with project and other construction teams. Responsible for timely clearance of invoices for payment through e-approval/i-portal system for IR projects.
• Responsibilities:
• Planning and Cost support shall report to Maintenance Project (MP) Services Team Leader and based in Miri. • Project / Planning – Support and develop project plans, in conjunction with project teams as well as others such as the cost engineering and barge services team. Ensure that plans are optimized, identifying Economies of Scales / resource sharing opportunities where possible, and ensure that schedules are realistic and achievable to meet the project objectives. • Specific emphasis will be on SAP and Primavera interfacing and the integration of contractor’s (design, fabrication, HUC) plans into the overall project schedule. • Project Cost Estimate/Control – Costing support for project teams, which include to finalizing, monitoring and updating project costs and future cost spending phasing. This includes provision of cost estimates, planning reviews and reporting. • Liaison / Coordination – Liaison and coordination with other parties for areas requiring resources – such as logistics, construction services, Asset IAP, etc. • Produce regular project reports for all stake holders of the project.

• • Fluent understanding with hands-on experience of planning tools and software – knowledge of SAP and Primavera. • Understanding and experience of cost estimating tools and software and familiar with databases, industry benchmarks, relevant to oil and gas industry application. • Has the ability to work with different nationalities & cultures and liaise within a designated team & with other teams, to be focused on targets and goals required, to work individually, as well as within a team as well as flexible and has pleasant personality. • To have good communication and presentation skills. • Fluent in written and spoken English is essential. • Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• • Degree holder of Engineering with minimum of 10 years working experience in Oil and Gas industry or Diploma holder of Engineering with minimum 15 years of working experience Oil and Gas industry. Have working experience in project engineering and management, project services in particular costing and planning, fabrication and offshore work. • Knowledge of HSSE
