| Brief Company Introduction |
Our Client is a MNC which operates at the forefront of the O&G industry.
They are involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas and are currently looking for a Construction Engineer - Operation to join their team.

| Work Scope |
- As focal point for work barge and / or work-boat operations. The Construction Engineer - Operations is then responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the work-barges and / or work-boats.
- Monitor and ensure correct and timely Company & Contractor supplied materials and consumables
- Coordinate day to day running of the barges/vessels and maintain communication with the Company Site Representative on work progress, operational problems and on the level of resources utilization
- Liaise with the Contractor to make sure that resources are made available
- Liaise closely with marine and topography for the timely provision of anchor handlers and topography boat
- Responsible to provide input to work planning prior to execution related to drawings, specifications, resources utilization, procedures, etc and final review and endorsement of these documents.
- Responsible to organized and initial per-mobilization inspections.
- Responsible follow up on pre-mobilization inspections to ensure all punch listed items are closed out prior to starting work.
- Responsible to provide technical support for planning and engineering prior to execution.
- Responsible as main driver in following up all incidents reporting and investigation and responsible for the timely close out of all action items in the investigation reports.
- Responsible to ensure the assigned Company Site Representative are up to date in trainings and latest development
- Responsible of the safety of the vessel or site team assigned to. Perform regular site visits to ensure the safety standards and practices are maintained.
- Coordinate with material team, fabrication yard & supply base to ensure timely delivery of material and fabrication items.
- Available 24 hours onshore support in case of emergencies.
- Managing bunkering and berthing requirement for marine vessels
- Attend daily operations meetings, project meetings and weekly progress meeting with Contractor.
- Ensure incident Notification Reports are properly prepared and submitted

| Requirements |
- Minimum 10 years working experiences in Marine and Construction in Oil & Gas induatries
- At least 3 years experience in management of offshore work-barge/workboat operation
- At least 3 years experience in marine vessel inspection
- Good negotiating skills, communication and reporting, plus assertiveness and supervision.
