| Work Scope |
- To manage and lead the Engineering function and ensure on-time delivery of quality technical information and support to all related departments and clients.
- To manage all engineering design in compliance with respective laws, standards and client specifications.
- To provide management and leadership of engineering team.
- To recruit and develop high quality engineering talent so as to be able to adequately support Project and Production needs at all times.
- To conduct technical risk assessments.
- To facilitate changes as necessary.
- To deliver projects to agreed time scale, budget and to specification.
- To promote company image and enhance company reputation.
- To ensure effective transfer of technical lessons learned from prior projects to all new orders.
- To work with COE resources as required on new product development and introduction.
- To manage engineering aspects of the product/project including specifications, resources and resource planning, budgeting, tendering input in line with project/product needs.
- To demonstrate through example of high commitment and alignment with value of the Client's Vision is to be the preferred partner for all stakeholders, through: HSE Mindset, Customer Drive, Hands-on Management, Delivering Results, Open and Direct Dialogue, People and Teams.

| Requirements |
- Minimum 10-15 years engineering design experience. Management experience of engineering design office.
- Detailed knowledge of Subsea XMT design and associated equipment.
An appreciation of overall subsea systems engineering, key interfaces and technologies.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities across projects and resolving same effectively.
- Management of a Design & Support Engineering department.

| Qualifications |
- Minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering required. Substantial experience of technical management in a related field may be accepted in lieu of a degree, at management discretion.
