Our Client is a MNC which operates at the forefront of the O&G industry.

They are involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas and are currently looking for a Senior Operations Engineer to join their team.

• Implementing of Operation Readiness and Assurance in Restoration Project in all operating locations.
• Implement new Operation Readiness and Assurance requirement in major Project and replicate fit for purpose in Restoration Project.
• Implementation of certificate of fitness in Restoration project in support of areas of Operating Integrity, Process Safety and Asset Integrity.
• Roll out & interfacing with Project, Information Management, Engineering Execution, Maintenance Execution, Asset, and Consultant on Operation Readiness and Assurance requirement
• Supporting the Asset on critical operations documents review and revise process impacted by Restoration Project implementation. Changes that deviated from the existing philosophy must be reflected in the existing operations documents.
• Organize equivalent pre-start up review on selected project.
• Provide Operation Readiness and Assurance input to Maintenance Project Guide Document for maintenance project and to Engineering Project Information Document on Operations requirement
• Responsible for drafting, coordinating reviews and seeking approval processes related to Operations Readiness & Assurance in Restoration Project.
• Responsible as operation’s representative in functional and consultant meetings.
• Responsible to follow-up and close-out Operations Readiness & Assurance action items.
• Responsible to give feedback and update project progress to key stakeholder.
• Responsible to review the Technical Engineering Management System document.
• Responsible to review and revise existing critical operations document at different project completion dates and duration.
• Verification on control and assurance in project management and Operations Readiness & Assurance deliverable e.g. CMMS, Training, Vendor data, Operating procedures etc.
• Provide guidance in Operations Readiness & Assurance requirement in projects
• Provide draft review term of reference.
• Provide support to resolve operational issues / constraint faced in project phases until handover steady state.
• Provide Operations Document (Operating Manuel and HSE Case) for updating. Verify changes and get approval from relevant or approving parties.
• Mentoring Project Trainee Engineers on Operations Readiness & Assurance process
• Review related Operations critical document and provide feedback where appropriate.
• Communicate to Asset on query from Projects on Operations and HSE matters.
• Manage Operating Document updating process for all project on every facility
• Capture lesson learnt from project for major Project and Operations Readiness & Assurance action items.
• Coordinate equivalent pre-start up review on selected facility
• Track and monitor Operations Readiness & Assurance key Operations deliverable and to ensure completeness and compliance to handover requirement.
• Sharing lesson learnt amongst Operations Readiness & Assurance practitioners – Big project & Maintenance Project for brown and green field.
• Keep close liaison with others group to make sure that new tools and requirements are properly implemented.
• Engagement and challenge with functional team, stakeholder, Engineering and Consultant (Contractors).

• Worked in the Oil & Gas Industry with at least 20 years in front line operations and maintenance.
• Minimum 10 years experience as Operation Installation Manager.
• Have managed offshore project execution and simultaneous operation.
• Good management skills in managing change and project management.
• Have a valid certificate for offshore travel e.g. Sea Survival & Offshore Safety, Helicopter Underwater Escape Training and Basic Fire Fighting & Self Rescue.

• Candidate must have a minimum diploma in engineering or equivalent.
