| Brief Company Introduction |
Our Client is a MNC which operates at the forefront of the O&G industry.
They are involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas and are currently looking for a Construction Engineer - Operation to join their team.

| Work Scope |
- Coordinate day to day running of the barges/vessels and maintains constant communication with CSR on work progress, operational problems and on the level resource utilization
- Monitor and ensure correct and timely Company supplied materials and consumables.
- Monitor and ensure correct and timely Contractor supplied materials and consumables.
- Nominated as focal point for work barge and / or work-boat operations. The construction Engineer –Operations is then responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the work barge and/or work-boat.
- Keep close liaison with the Contractor to make sure that resources are made available.
- Provide input to work planning prior to execution related to drawings, specifications, resource utilization, procedures, etc. and final review and endorsement of these documents.
- Organize and initiate per-mobilization inspection
Follow up on per-mobilization inspections to ensure all punch listed items are closed out prior to starting work.
- Liaise closely with marine and topography for the timely provision of anchor handlers and topography boat.
- Provide technical support for planning and engineering prior execution
Coordinate with material team, fabrication yard & supply base to ensure timely delivery of material and fabricated items
- Make available 24 hours onshore support in case of emergencies and in view of the high cost and 24 hours operations of offshore activities.
- Main driver in following up all incident reports and investigation and responsible for the timely close out of all action items raised in the investigation report. The CSR shall be accountable in all cases to close out all action items.
- Managing bunkering and berthing requirement for marine vessels
Raising the requirement for inspection to support offshore campaign
- Attend daily operations meetings and weekly progress meetings with Contractor
- Attend and contribute to relevant project meeting where possible
- Fully responsible of the safety of the vessel or site team assigned to. Perform regular site visits to ensure the safety standards and practices are maintained
- Responsible to ensure the assigned CSR are up to date on HSSE training and latest development of HSSE requirements
- Ensure Incident Notification Reports are properly prepared and submitted

| Requirements |
- Must have 15 years working experience in oil & gas industry with;
- At least 3 years in offshore construction (hook-up, commissioning & maintenance) project co-ordination work, progress control and safety management
- Good negotiating skills, communication and reporting, plus assertiveness and supervision.
