Brief Company Introduction

Our Client is a multinational company which is involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas and operates at the forefront of the O&G industry.

Work Scope
  • The Personnel is responsible for ensuring that all static equipment technical integrity, readiness of all resources such as materials, procedures, workboats, bedding on production stations are planned and optimized. All materials and equipments supplied by Vendors and Company alike shall meet current SMEP current technical HSE requirement. The incumbent shall ensure to exercise prudent control in delivering maintenance activities in a cost effective approach and ensure costs are monitored and tracked on daily basis.
  • The scope of work shall cover packing and lead field execution of maintenance activities in Sarawak Assets offshore production stations such as E11, F23, F06, M03, M01 and B11. Hence, core role is to ensure integrity level of mechanical equipment in Sarawak Assets is maintained to an acceptable state for consistent delivery of gas to customers.
  • Responsibilities:
  • To deliver Technical Integrity health of offshore production facilities to a state of 100% reliability of mechanical static facilities.
  • To ensure readiness of TMM (Topside Major Maintenance) activities either via workload/work barge or Living Quarters based and exercise control on cost management and efficiency of workforce onsite.
  • To manage, minimize and clear all deviated conditions of offshore facilities under the stipulated timeframe.
  • To ensure all SIMOPS/SSP (Simultaneous Operation / Site Specific Procedure) requirements are fulfilled and comply with current standards and Sarawak Assets management approvals are obtained.
  • To ensure HAZID (Hazard Identification) and risk assessment workshops are conducted for all parties involved prior to TMM campaign.
  • To integrate/optimize resources under TMM (Topside Major Maintenance) control with other projects teams/vendors/contractors based on resource availability.
  • To ensure all onshore fabrications of pipe spools and structures are completed in time for offshore installation in accordance to current SMEP Maintenance Inspection Standards.
  • To ensure all Specific Work Procedures such as heavy lifting, complex and high risk maintenance activities are covered.
  • To ensure all activities are conducted in accordance to Maintenance Cost Work Transparency procedures and ensure all service providers to TMM comply.
  • To ensure compliance to SAP Work Preparation Scheduling and Mechanical Static Engineer as Work Preparation Engineer and Field Maintenance Engineer.
  • To ensure compliance to current HSSE standards with focus on 12 Life Saving Rules, Shell Golden Rule and Goal Zero.
  • To ensure that all TMM campaign is technically close out with full report on finance, QC, HSE and Cost Work transparency requirement.
  • To ensure that Hazards & Effects Management Planning (HEMP) is in place, and HSSE risks associated identified has mitigation measures in place.
  • To prepare and submit static mechanical inspection report and drawings to contractors for fieldwork scoping activities, isometric drawings preparation and material take off compilation.
  • Able to make decisions during field execution to ensure progress are adhered to as planned and/or come-up with alternatives to accommodate possible constraints onsite.
Requirements
  • Competent in SAP or equivalent
  • Have a sound knowledge of engineering codes and standards and basic metallurgy and corrosion.
  • Knowledge of Company Standard Engineering Specifications & Design Engineering Practice is a must. Sound knowledge of materials specification for both onshore and offshore topside major maintenance requirements. (I.e. piping, pipe fittings, flanges, spading materials, gaskets and structural materials.)
  • SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operation), Hot Work, positive isolation, lifting and hoisting, vessel entry, scheduled waste management, scaffolding and temporary structures.
  • Knowledge of Oil & Gas HSSE such as PPE, PTW and tool-box meeting requirement and 12 Life Saving Rules.
  • Management of effective warehousing/project Yard business strategies and manage resources to meet Business’s need.
  • Knowledge of coordinating materials shipment and other logistic to meet worksite requirements inclusive of manifesting and custom clearance activities associated with it.
Qualifications
  • Minimum SPM or STPM or equivalent.
  • Min 10 years working experience with topside maintenance activities in Oil and Gas industry for SPM or STPM holder
  • Min five (5) years working experience with topside maintenance activities in Oil and Gas industry for Diploma Holder in any Engineering discipline.
