Our Client – A top player in the Oil & Gas Industry, is looking for key candidates to join their company for the following below positions.

Work Scope
  • Perform the required Control System and Umbilical engineering activities, in accordance with project/client requirements. Acquire the knowledge of the suppliers products and technology development relevant to subsea umbilical and control system.
  • Assure the assigned project interfaces and liaise with the other project team personnel.
  • The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.
  • Review Client technical documentation and requirements.
  • Maintain project technical files and update client standards.
  • Control subcontracted engineering documents belonging to the subsea control and umbilical discipline.
  • Perform the engineering activities related with the assigned scope of work within the project.
  • Ensure the timely availability of project documents and the implementation of the comments received by the Client and by other project disciplines.
  • Ensure the implementation of project design changes and provide the umbilical and control system lead with the information relevant to the work progress for the preparation of the project control reports.
  • Cooperate in the preparation of operative procedures for the integration and testing of the whole umbilical and control system with the other equipment of the system, e.g. for FAT, EFAT and SIT.
  • Cooperate with the other specialists for the evaluation of the system architecture and characteristics.
  • Cooperate in conceptual definition and development of statement of requirements for subsea umbilical and control systems, providing technical support to all activities related to sales promotion, bidding and detail engineering.
  • Prepare the specifications for deep and shallow waters, dynamic and infield, subsea E/H control umbilical (including requirements for steel tubes, thermoplastic hoses, ancillaries, etc.), power and signal cable, fibers optics cables and topside and subsea control system components design, manufacturing, test and maintenance.
  • Prepare the specification for the subsea control system architecture and equipment.
  • Cooperate for the preparation of the umbilical and subsea control system equipment installation and pre-commissioning documents.
  • Prepare and issue the final updates of the technical documents for material purchasing.
  • Prepare evaluation notes relevant to technical proposals received by suppliers.
  • Prepare evaluation reports relevant to tests performed by suppliers both during qualification or construction phases.
  • Assist the umbilical and control system lead or the Project Techical Manager for solving technical problems arising during project development and for interfacing/supporting the client procurement department and inspection and expediting department.
  • Prepare the section of competence of the final reports.
  • Support the umbilical and control system lead for the preparation of project schedules and man-hours evaluation.
  • Participate at the suppliers qualification process.
  • Cooperate with the umbilical and control system engineering lead to support the procurement and fabrication activities.
  • Support the inspection and expediting personnel during the relevant activities
  • Bachelors Degree with Minimum 15 years in Related Field
