Our Client – A top player in the Oil & Gas Industry, is looking for key candidates to join their company for the following below positions.

Work Scope
  • Develop with the Naval Architect lead the specialistic knowledge of main Naval Engineer competences such as vessel Hydrostatic, Stability, Hydrodynamic, Dynamic Positioning System, Mooring, Engineering analysis for Offshore installation
  • Apply and improve technical skills, expertise, knowledge, procedures and tools as required for proposals and project execution
  • Support naval engineering activities
  • Improve quality and efficiency in the naval engineering activity
Requirements
  • 5-7 years experience, in the projects involving offshore transportation and installation of platform structures (jackets, topsides) with 3 years only performing naval analyses involving transportation and installation operations
  • Knowledge of international code of practices for T&I requirement is a must, i.e. DNV, ABS, API, Noble Denton, SNAME and etc.
  • Knowledge of T&I structural analyses will be an advantage
  • The Naval Architect executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements
  • Apply the Naval Engineering acquired competence for the Naval Architect technical activities
  • Prepare naval deliverables (procedures, notes, technical reports)
  • Develop design capability (stability, hydrostatic hydrodynamics, hull, mooring, installation engineering, DP)
  • Prepare technical documen ts relevant for requisitions, bid analysis and PO
  • Prepare feedback dossiers from projects
  • Support the Naval Architect Lead to develop the excellence in naval engineering
  • Acquire the capability and the skill requested to successfully apply the state of art of numerical tool requested for the naval department engineering activities
  • Assist the Naval Architect Lead to implement the process of Lesson Learning
  • Improve technical competence growth of department resources regarding Hydrostatic, Stability, Hydrodynamic, Mooring analysis, Dynamic Positioning System
  • Knowledge of analysis tools MOSES (2D and 3D modelling)
  • Knowledge of analysis tools ORCAFLEX (2D and 3D modelling)

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Naval Architecture or other applicable discipline from accredited university.
